The village of Al-Qubeiba is situated at the beginning of a hill range that extends from Jerusalem in the east, westwards to the Palestinian coast. Owing to the village’s strategic location, invaders and liberators of Jerusalem have encamped there in order to overlook the coastal plain to the west and to secure their supply lines by controlling the Jerusalem-Jaffa Road, which crosses the village.
